The Atlin Highway project was part of a multi-million dollar investment by the Yukon Government to upgrade highway infrastructure. Located 100 km south of Whitehorse, LNB Construction mobilized heavy equipment along a 6.5 km stretch of Little-Atlin Lake into the Yukon just after spring thaw. LNB Construction Inc.’s proven industry knowledge, combined with patience and skill, provided for the implementation of the highest standards in safety, environmental responsibility and wildlife conservation necessary for the successful completion of this project. Other project stipulations included:

• Hand brushing environmentally sensitive areas
• Excavation of 180,000 cubic metres of earth
• Installation of 500 m of culvert
• Traffic control along major highway corridor
